About ME

My name is Andie Worsley. 

After eight years in education, I can truly say that I love my job! I began my career as an educator working in Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, TX. After enjoying 3 years in the sun I decided to move back home to Illinois where I was a Digital Learning Coach for 3 years before returning to Texas with my husband, Brett!

In 2015, I rejoined forces with the district that gave me my start in education. I became an Academic Technology IST, which is really just a fancy title for a whole lot of technology integration, professional development design and presentation, and collaboration with amazing educators!

In November of 2016, my husband and I welcomed our first child, Graeme /gram/ into our lives. And in June of 2017, we decided to leave Texas behind for a new adventure in the Pacific Northwest! Seattle is our new home and we are so in love with the city. It's been an adventurous and rewarding year.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 2009. In 2011, I decided to further my education and obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. My love for incorporating technology into student learning led me to become Google for Education Certified in 2014.

This blog will be used to showcase my LOVE and PASSION for technology integration to foster student engagement, rich thinking, and personalized learning. I hope you will find some useful tips and information as you follow along!
